Brad Pitt to Star in Upcoming Racing Movie, Bidding War Launched!

A bidding war is currently happening between major studios and streamers for an upcoming racing movie starring Brad Pitt.

The 57-year-old Oscar-winning actor is attached to star in a racing project that will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, who is best known for directing movies like Oblivion, Tron: Legacy, and the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick.

THR reports that producer Jerry Bruckheimer, screenwriter Ehren Kruger, and real-life race car driver Lewis Hamilton are all attached to the project as well.

The story for the movie isn’t clear right now, but lots of major studios and streamers are interested in picking up the project.

“Offers have been coming in from studios Paramount, MGM, Sony and Universal as well as streamers Netflix, Apple and Amazon,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Even Disney is part of the bidding war.

Brad recently had a new project picked up by Apple.
