Krysten Ritter Joins the Cast of New David E. Kelley Series 'Love & Death' at HBO Max

Krysten Ritter is taking on an exciting new role!

Variety reports that the actress has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max series Love and Death from Big Little Lies creator David E. Kelley.

Love and Death is based on the real-life story of Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who murdered her friend from church, Betty Gore, with an axe in 1980.

The show will also star Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons. It follows “two church going couples, enjoying small town family life in Texas, until somebody picks up an axe.”

Krysten is set to play Sherry Shreckler in the show, while Elizabeth stars as Candy Montgomery and Jesse appears as Allan Gore. Nicole Kidman will be an executive producer on the project.
