Lucille Ball's Daughter Says Nicole Kidman is 'Spectacular' as Her Mom in 'Being the Ricardos'

Nicole Kidman is getting high praise from Lucille Ball‘s daughter!

In a new interview, Lucie Arnaz, the daughter of Lucy and Desi Arnaz, raved about the 54-year-old actress’ portrayal of her mom in the upcoming Being the Ricardos movie.

“Nicole did a spectacular job. The two days that I watched, though, were both little flashbacks, so she was playing Lucy in the late ’30s and mid-’40s. She wasn’t Lucy of Lucy Ricardo fame yet, so it was a trifle different,” Lucie shared with The Palm Springs Life magazine.

She continued, “And I know she meant it to be, so it could feel different. But boy, what she did was astounding. She’s got such poise and class.”

In the upcoming Aaron Sorkin-directed movie, Nicole will be playing Lucy opposite Javier Bardem as Desi.

While she did sing her praises for Nicole, strong>Lucie did admit there are some scenes in Being the Ricardos that are inaccurate.
