Henry Golding Slams Andrew Yang for Supporting Israel's Deadly Airstrikes on Palestinians

Andrew Yang is facing a lot of backlash over a recent tweet.

On Monday (May 10), the 46-year-old businessman, who is currently running for mayor of New York City, tweeted out his support for the Israel after its military conducted airstrikes, which killed at least 28 Palestinians.

“I’m standing with the people of Israel who are coming under bombardment attacks, and condemn the Hamas terrorists,” Andrew tweeted. “The people of NYC will always stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel who face down terrorism and persevere.”

Shortly after Andrew‘s tweet went viral, Henry Golding took to Twitter to slam the mayoral candidate.

“You are an actual twat,” the 34-year-old Crazy Rich Asians actor tweeted.

Many fans praised Henry for slamming Andrew, with his tweet garnering over 14,000 retweets and nearly 54,000 likes.

On Tuesday, Andrew was supposed to attend a Ramadan event in Queens, New York, where he was set to distribute groceries to Muslim families in need.

However, Andrew told reporters that event organizers informed him last-minute that it “would be better” if he did not attend, the NY Daily News reports.
