Demi Lovato Makes Her Tiny Desk Debut With a Performance in Her Own Backyard

Demi Lovato is making her big Tiny debut!

The 28-year-old “Tell Me You Love Me” global superstar made her first appearance on NPR Tiny Desk (At Home) on Wednesday (April 14), performing a three song set shot entirely in her own backyard.

The performance included a rendition of her 2017 hit “Tell Me You Love Me,” as well as two songs from her new album Dancing With the Devil…The Art of Starting Over: “The Art of Starting Over” and “Dancing With the Devil.”

“I am super excited to be filming this outside because I’m really, really excited about the weather changing. Spring is my second favorite, and summer is my absolute favorite season. So, I’m really happy to be out in the bright sunny California sun, and my squirrels are out here,” she said.

Demi was joined by Steven “Styles” Rodriguez on the keys for the shoot, which was directed by Mike Drew.

Demi‘s Tiny Desk Concert was filmed right outside of her home studio, with her trophies and awards in the background. She showed them off back in December when the room was finished.
