In the song, Demi opens up about her sexuality.

“I feel like this is the song I’m going to play people if we start dating so they can get a sense of who I am. I’m just an open, free-spirited person who wants to be happy, and I deserve that. Everyone deserves that,” she explained to Apple Music.

Listen and read the lyrics…

Doesn’t matter you’re a woman or a man / That’s the kind of lover I am (Lover that I am),” she sings on the chorus.

I might not believe in monogamy / The moment I fall, that’s it for me / I get obsessed with no jealousy.

“You know what? I’ve been really good on my own lately / Like I don’t need anybody or anything / I’m feeling good by myself,” she says in a spoken bit at the end of the song.

“But if somebody comes along / And they just look at me the right way and they tell the right joke (Haha) / I don’t care if you’ve got a dick / I don’t care if you got a WAP / I-I just wanna to love / You know what I’m saying? / Like I just wanna f–king share my life with someone at some point / Right now I’m good though I don’t need anybody, I’m good.”

Demi Lovato recently opened up about being pansexual, and previously opened up about the movie she feels made her realize she’s queer.
