Demi Lovato Says She Can No Longer Do This After Near-Fatal Overdose

Things are very different for Demi Lovato after her near-fatal drug overdose.

While promoting her new docu-series Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil on Wednesday (February 17) during panel with the Television Critics Association, the 28-year-old singer said that she has suffered “brain damage” from her overdose, revealing that she can no longer drive a car.

“I don’t drive a car, because I have blind spots on my vision,” Demi shared via E! News. “I also, for a long time, had a really hard time reading… It was a big deal when I was able to read out of a book, which was like two months later, because my vision was so blurry.”

Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil will also share footage from her last all the way up to the present, including talking about her engagement, and showing her drastic new haircut.

In the trailer for the docu-series, Demi revealed that she had three strokes and a heart attack after the 2018 overdose.

Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil will premiere on YouTube on March 23. It was also announced that Demi Lovato is heading back to television.
