Demi Lovato to Star in NBC Comedy Series 'Hungry'

Demi Lovato is heading back to television!

The 28-year-old entertainer, who previously starred in the Disney Channel series Sonny with a Chance, will be leading the upcoming NBC comedy series Hungry.

The network has given the project a put pilot commitment, which means that if they decide not to air it, the network will have to pay a penalty. That means it’s likely that the show will get picked up!

THR reports that Hungry will follow a group of friends who belong to a food issues group and help each other as they look for love, success and that one thing in the refrigerator that will make it all better.

Demi most recently appeared in a guest starring role on the final season of Will & Grace.
