Viola Davis Joins Sandra Bullock in New Netflix Movie

Viola Davis is heading to Netflix!

The 54-year-old How to Get Away with Murder actress has signed on to star opposite Sandra Bullock in the upcoming Nora Fingscheidt-directed movie, Deadline reports.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “Based on the 3-part British miniseries Unforgiven, the drama follows Ruth Slater (Bullock) who is released from prison after serving a sentence for a violent crime and re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past. Facing severe judgment from the place she once called home, her only hope for redemption is finding the estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.”

It has also been announced that Rob Morgan and Aisling Franciosi have joined the cast.

This is Sandra‘s second project with Netflix after the success of her movie Bird Box.
