Alanis Morissette Reveals How She Felt About Britney Spears Covering 'You Oughta Know'!

Alanis Morissette has nothing but love for Britney Spears!

While making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday night (December 5), the 45-year-old singer got asked by a caller how she felt about Britney covering her signature hit “You Oughta Know” during her Circus tour in 2009.

“Awesome! I love Britney so much,” Alanis expressed.

Alanis Morissette also took a call from another fan who asked how sick she was of people asking if “You Oughta Know” is allegedly about Uncle Joey aka Dave Coulier of Full House.

“No revealing, but I am intrigued at the thought, or at the fact that more than one person has taken credit for it. I don’t know if you want to take credit for being the person I wrote ‘You Oughta Know’ about,” Alanis said.

Alanis Morissette later talked about why she thinks she wasn’t allowed to make eye contact with Vanilla Ice when she opened for him on tour.
