Tom Hanks Learns He's Related to Fred Rogers!

Tom Hanks, who plays Mr. Fred Rogers in the upcoming movie A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, just learned something amazing… he is sixth cousins with the late Fred Rogers!

While in New York City for promo work, he was told the news on the red carpet with his wife.

“No, impossible … you’re pulling our leg,” his wife Rita Wilson said. Tom added, “it all just comes together, you see.”

Tom also told the interviewer that he wanted to see if any other celeb was also related to Fred Rogers, like Johnny Depp.
