Brie Larson Is Proving Captain Marvel Could Pick Up Thor's Hammer This Whole Time

In case there was any confusion, Brie Larson is making it clear that Captain Marvel could definitely pick up Thor’s hammer!

If you don’t know, in Marvel lore, the hammer can only be lifted by those who are “worthy.” In fact, inscribed on the side of the hammer is the phrase, “Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor (Chris Hemsworth).”

In Avengers: Endgame, we actually see Captain America (Chris Evans) able to pick up Thor’s hammer. Now, Brie Larson is adding her character’s name to the list with her new Instagram post.

“Not to be whatever, but….told you I could lift it 😇,” Brie captioned the photo of her lifting the hammer.
