Meghan Markle's BFF Jessica Mulroney Defends Her Against 'Racist Bullies'

Meghan Markle‘s best friend is sticking up for her.

Jessica Mulroney took to Instagram on Tuesday (August 20) to share her thoughts on the recent criticism made against the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex by the press.

The stylist first started by reposting a tweet by Jameela Jamil where she shared an article criticizing Meghan and Prince Harry and wrote, “Ugh. Dear England and English press, just say you hate her because she’s black, and him for marrying a black woman and be done with it God dammit. Your bullying is so embarrassing and obvious. You’ve all lost your marbles. It’s 2019. Grow up.”

Jessica then chimed in by writing, “When someone faces unfair criticism, you call it out. When that person is your friend and your family, you call those critics what they truly are. Shame on you, you racist bullies.”

Jessica‘s comments come after Meghan and Prince Harry were slammed for taking a private jet to Elton John‘s private residence in the South of France. The singer quickly came to their defense, bashing the press.
